The best investment is in yourself.
I offer discreet in person services in Valrico, Florida or remotely for individuals located in Florida via a secure telehealth platform.

I see a small number of clients to provide exclusive, high-quality treatment. Your therapy will be focused and tailored to you, because I know what it's like to be treated like a number and to have a provider talk at you like you're a checklist.

I leave space in between sessions, so you won't be rushed out of the office at your session end time if we are actively processing or are in a pivotal moment.

You are unique and will be treated with flexibility, compassion, and the care that you deserve.
I DO NOT ACCEPT INSURANCE
WHY NOT?
Your privacy and autonomy is of the utmost importance. Therefore, I do not accept insurance. Insurance companies bind therapists to a contract putting us in a position of working for them, not working for you.
YOU COULD LOSE PRIVACY
In order for coverage to be approved by insurance, sensitive information is required to be released to your insurance carrier. This info often includes your name, social security number, diagnosis, personal history and/or treatment plans. Therapists have no control over the information once it leaves the office.
If you are active-duty military self-seeking mental health treatment, the base often requires you to be seen by a provider on base first or you will need to get approval by your PCP to be referred off-base. Typically, you will be asked to sign a release form to authorize your off-base provider to communicate back and forth with your Military Treatment Facility. See TRICARE Coverage for MH Services, DoDI 6490.08, DoDI 6025.19: 1.2.b and TRICARE Policy Manual 6010.60-M

If you are a service-connected veteran, the VA requires a similar process for you to use your benefits with a VA approved provider.
YOU LOSE CONTROL OF YOUR OWN TREATMENT
The company that manages your care will often require authorizations and provide a limit to the frequency, length and number of sessions. They can also dictate the modality of treatment.
INSURANCE REQUIRES A DIAGNOSIS
Even if you don't want a diagnosis, therapists will have to diagnose you in order to bill your insurance.
